Author Guidelines

Dear Author,

Thank you for your interest in publishing your contributions with Information Studies,

 

There are two sections in this journal;

Referred articles: scholarly articles that show an originality and contribution to the area of information studies.  Articles published in this journal will be anonymously reviewed by two or more professors form Accredited  Programs in related areas (Editorial board member can be referrers).

Second reviews: we encourage and welcome all type of reviews on books, databases and software, websites, systems, projects.

 

Article style and format:

1- Information Studies recommends the use of APA style as the formal accepted format. Please make sure the text body, citations, tables, diagrams, and references comply with the format of APA (for more on APA see this link).

 

2- Submitted Article should be in Word document format.

 

3- Submitted Article should have a title page including:

 

-Article title, and author name(s) in either Arabic or English.

- Author contact information.

- For first submission, a short biography of the author(s) (less than 100 word) is recommended.

 

4- Submitted Article should have an abstract (250 words). If possible, a second abstract translated in the other language is highly appreciated.

 

5- Please list general subject headings and keywords. It is very important for our search function and article retrieval.

 

 Language:

Information studies is a bilingual journal. The official languages are Arabic and English. Articles may be submitted in either of these languages. Abstracts submitted in only one language will be translated by an IS editor. However, authors cooperation in providing translation of the abstract is highly appreciated.

 

 

Copyright note:

Article submitted to Information Studies must be original. It should fully respect the copyright regulations. Information Studies guarantees that all articles will be available freely to all users for non-commercial use under our open access policy. Use of articles published in this journal shall fall under the Common Create license. Published articles in Information studies can not be re-published for commercial purpose without the permission of the one of the copyright holders (either the author or Information Studies). Re-publishing must directly refer and cite this journal with the statement “first published in Information Studies”. The editor of Information Studies reserves the right to publish articles via a variety of mediums. We also reserve the right to cooperate with third party which seek to increase the availability and access to the journal’s contents.

حقوق النشر 

المجلة العالمية لدراسات المعلومات، ، مجلة متخصصة محكمة ، جميع حقوق التأليف محفوظة تحت نظام الإبداع المطلق العالمي أو كما يقال له أحيانا " الإبداعات العمومية أو الشائعة"ـ الهادفة إلى توفير المعرفة مجانية لجميع المستفيدين بدون أي تكاليف مالية،مع حفظ بعض الحقوق للمؤلف.

دراسات المعلومات مضبوطة بحيث:

- لك الحق في الاستخدام : وتشمل النسخ، التوزيع، العرض، ...
- ليس لك الحق في الاستغلال التجاري لمواد دراسات المعلومات
- ليس لك الحق في التعديل أو التغيير في مواد دراسات المعلومات
- يجب عليك حفظ الحقوق المعنوية بذكر مؤلف العمل و الناشر المجلة الرقمية العالمية لدراسات المعلومات، عند إعادة نشر أجزاء من مواد المجلة بشكل مطابق لنظام المجلة بحيث تكون مفتوحة للجميع مجاناً.

 

إعداد البحث للنشر

عزيزي الباحث:
نشكرك لاختيارك المجلة العالمية لدراسات المعلومات، لنشر بحوثك العلمية المتخصص، الأعمال المنشورة في المجلة صنفين:

البحوث محكمة:

هي أعمال متخصصة يظهر فيها الأصالة و الإبداع البحثي العلمي في مجال دراسات المعلومات. جميع البحوث المنشورة في هذه المجلة يجب أن تجتاز لجنة التحكيم العلمي و المكونة من شخصين أو أكثر ينتسبون إلى مدارس علمية ذات علاقة بموضوع البحث تكون معترف بها.

المراجعات:

 وهي أعمال تهدف إلى إظهار عمل علمي معين مثلاً كتاب، قواعد بيانات و برامج، مواقع ، أنظمة،و مشاريع علمية في مجال المعلومات.

الشكل و التوثيق العلمي:

  1. المجلة العالمية لدراسات المعلومات، تعتمد طريقة جمعية علم النفس الأمريكية ( APA ) ، يرجى الحرص على مراجعة الطريقة في كامل النص، الاقتباسات، الجداول، و الفهارس سواء باللغة العربية أو الانجليزية.
  2. البحوث المرسلة يجب أن تكون في ملف ( word ) .
  3. البحوث المرسلة يجب أن تكون لها صفحة عنوان تشمل:
    • عنوان البحث، اسم الباحث أو الباحثين باللغة العربية و الانجليزية أن أمكن.
    • عنوان الباحث و طريقة الاتصال به.
    • سيرة علمية مختصرة للباحث في اقل من 100 كلمة في حال لم يسبق إرسالها للمجلة.
  4. البحوث المرسلة يجب أن يكون لها مستخلص قصير بما لا يزيد عن 250 كلمة باللغة الأصلية للبحث ، و تقدر المجلة إرسال المستخلص باللغة الأخرى (انجليزية أو عربي).
  5. أيضا يجب كتابة رؤوس الموضوعات ، و الكلمات الدالة.

لغة المجلة :
تعتمد المجلة العالمية لدراسات المعلومات، اللغة العربية و الانجليزية للبحوث المنشورة ، و تقدر المجلة تعاول الباحثين في كتابة المستخلصات باللغتين العربية و الانجليزية ، و في حال تعذر ذلك سوف نقوم بترجمة المستخلص بالنيابة عن الباحث.

حقوق التأليف :
المجلة العالمية لدراسات المعلومات، ، مجلة متخصصة محكمة ، جميع حقوق التأليف محفوظة تحت نظام الإبداع المطلق العالمي أو كما يقال له أحيانا " الإبداعات العمومية أو الشائعة"ـ الهادفة إلى توفير المعرفة مجانية لجميع المستفيدين بدون أي تكاليف مالية،مع حفظ بعض الحقوق للمؤلف.

  • يجب أن يكون البحث المرسل للمجلة أصلي و لم يسبق نشرة.
